All of the doctors consulting from our practice offer private billing, which means that most patients will be charged a $30 out-of-pocket fee by their doctor in addition to the Medicare rebate amount for a standard consultation. This fee reflects the cost of the doctors providing this service to you. Your doctors have absorbed the substantial increases in operational costs over the years, and have done their very best to set their fees as low as possible so they can continue to be an accessible provider for their valued patients.

You will be required to pay for your consultation in full on the day of your appointment and your Medicare rebate (if you are eligible for one) will be processed electronically and automatically appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.

Your doctor may offer you a bulk-billed consultation on weekdays (Monday to Friday) if your consultation relates to any of the following:

• Children under 16 years of age
• Pension Card / DVA Card Holders
• Health Care Card / Concession Card Holders
• Telephone consultations
• Care plans, health assessments
• Government-funded immunisations

There is no bulk-billing on Saturdays and all appointments/patients (including those listed above) on Saturdays will be charged the $30 out-of-pocket fee by their doctor. Unfortunately, the doctors are not able to bulk bill all of their patients because of the significant increases in the costs of providing a high quality medical service. The doctors have set their fees as low as possible whilst reflecting the time taken and the degree of complexity of each consultation.
